REAL PARTS. REAL PURPOSE.
3D Printing Services in New Mexico
One part, five hundred parts, or a prototype nobody has made before—we care about what the print has to accomplish after it leaves the machine.
We print parts, not just files.
A beautiful STL can still become a bad physical part. Orientation changes strength. Material changes temperature resistance and flexibility. Layer height changes finish and production time. Supports can affect critical surfaces. Alt 3D approaches 3D printing as manufacturing.
Our focus is printed parts and models. We do not provide painting, metal casting or on-site installation; the quote defines the printing and preparation included.
What comes through our shop
- Functional prototypes that need to be held, assembled and tested.
- Replacement components when the original part is unavailable or needs improvement.
- Branded objects and displays where geometry matters as much as function.
- Architectural models and presentation pieces.
- Jigs, fixtures and shop aids made around a specific workflow.
- Short-run production when tooling would be excessive for the quantity.

Need multiples? Additive manufacturing can scale from a validation part into repeatable batches without committing to a mold.
Your file does not have to be perfect.
If you have a production-ready file, send it. If you have a file that almost works, we can evaluate it. If you have a broken part, sketch or idea, our CAD and 3D design service can help build the geometry first.
01 / Prototype
Make one. Find the problems. Change it before mistakes become expensive.
02 / Produce
Once the geometry works, manufacture repeat parts without traditional tooling.
03 / Scale intelligently
For higher quantities, evaluate whether additive still makes sense or another process should take over.
Local enough to put the part in your hand.
Alt 3D is based in Rio Rancho, giving Albuquerque and New Mexico customers a local manufacturing partner. We also produce shippable work for customers outside the state.
3D printing FAQ
What file types can I send?
STL and STEP are common starting points, but send what you have.
Can you help choose a material?
Yes. Tell us how the part will be used and we can discuss appropriate printable options.
Can you print just one part?
Absolutely. One-offs and prototypes are a major advantage of additive manufacturing.
Let’s get your part off the screen.
Send your file, dimensions, quantity and intended use for a project-specific quote.
