Effective date: October 20, 2026
Alt 3D (“Alt 3D,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit alt3dprint.com, contact us, request a quote, submit project files, or purchase our 3D printing, design, fabrication, or printer repair services.
1. Information we collect
- Contact information: your name, business name, email address, telephone number, and billing, shipping, or pickup details that you provide.
- Project and service information: messages, quote requests, dimensions, quantities, deadlines, material preferences, uploaded CAD or 3D files, drawings, photographs, reference images, and repair details.
- Transaction information: estimates, invoices, order history, payment status, and related business records. Payment providers collect payment credentials through their own secure payment systems. Please do not send card or bank account details through our contact forms, email, or text messages.
- Website information: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referral information, approximate location derived from IP address, and interactions such as clicks on contact and quote buttons. Cookies and similar technologies can collect this information.
We collect information directly from you, automatically through the website, and from service providers involved in your inquiry, transaction, or delivery. Please share only information you are authorized to provide, and avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information in project files.
2. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; assess feasibility and prepare quotes; communicate about projects and repairs; provide design, printing, fabrication, and support; arrange appointments, pickup, and shipping; issue invoices and track payments; maintain customer and project records; understand website use; improve services; prevent fraud and misuse; and meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations.
If we send promotional communications, you can ask us to stop at any time. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP. We can use other available contact methods to manage an active inquiry, order, appointment, or payment after an SMS opt-out.
3. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics and Google website measurement tools to understand visits and interactions, including clicks on links and quote or contact buttons. These tools can use cookies or similar identifiers and receive technical and usage information from your browser. Website hosting and other features may also use cookies for functionality and security.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect website features. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Learn more about Google’s handling of information on sites using its services at Google’s partner-sites privacy explanation. These browser controls do not delete information already provided to us.
4. Personal information and service requests
We do not sell your personal information. We use the information you provide for the service purposes you agree to, such as responding to your request, preparing a quote, completing your project, and arranging payment or delivery. Payment services, shipping services, and other third-party services you choose may collect information directly from you under their own privacy policies.
SMS consent is separate from a request for a quote or service. Providing a phone number alone does not opt you in to text messages. We do not use mobile opt-in data or consent for third-party marketing.
5. Project files and project photographs
Project files and supporting materials are used to evaluate, quote, produce, troubleshoot, and support your work. If your project requires an NDA, restricted handling, or other confidentiality arrangements, contact us before submitting the materials so those requirements can be agreed in writing.
Project photographs or examples may be used in our portfolio or marketing as permitted by the terms agreed for your project. Tell us before work begins if you want your project excluded from public display. You can also contact us about an existing project image. This privacy policy does not itself grant us ownership of your designs or permission to publish confidential files.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including ongoing projects, customer support, repeat work, accounting, tax obligations, and legal claims. Retention depends on the information and the reason it is held. You may request deletion, although some records may need to be retained for legal or business obligations. Copies may remain in backups until those backups are replaced through their normal cycle.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No website, internet transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact us before sending especially sensitive, regulated, or confidential materials.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you have provided, ask questions about its use, or opt out of promotional communications by emailing Sales@alt3dprint.com. Include enough information for us to identify your request, but do not send identity documents or financial credentials unless we explain a secure verification process.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply to our business, you may have additional rights to a copy of your information, to restrict certain processing, or to opt out of certain uses. We will handle applicable requests and any available appeal rights as required by law. We may need to verify your identity, and legal exceptions may limit what we can delete or disclose.
9. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and address it.
10. Other websites and service providers
Our website may link to payment pages, social media, or other third-party services. Their privacy policies govern information collected on their services. We operate in New Mexico, United States; our providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.
11. Policy updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services, practices, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
