ALT 3D PRODUCTION CASE STUDY
From custom product to serious production volume.
Happy Dispensary worked with Alt 3D on recurring custom printed products—moving beyond a prototype into sustained commercial output.

500+
units per month during sustained production
~10,000
units during a peak production month
REPEAT
commercial manufacturing, not a one-off prototype
These figures describe this project, not guaranteed capacity or turnaround for every new order.
The hard part isn’t printing one. It’s making the next hundreds consistently.
A prototype proves a design can become a physical object. Repeat production adds another challenge: making more of the agreed part consistently. Alt 3D supported sustained output above 500 units per month and a peak month around 10,000 units for this project.
What volume production actually requires
Repeatability
Start with an approved file and clear part requirements, then keep the batch tied to that agreed revision.
Capacity
Machine time, quantity and delivery needs have to be reviewed together.
Scalability
For suitable jobs, printed batches can test demand and scale without starting with dedicated tooling.

What this project means for your next batch
If your project starts with 20 units and later needs 500, the production plan matters. This work demonstrates experience beyond one-off prototyping, but every new product still gets its own review.
Our additive manufacturing and 3D printing services can support suitable products moving from a sample into repeated parts.
How to prepare a repeat-production inquiry
Send the approved file, finished dimensions, quantities, material needs, deadline and delivery location. If a part must fit another item, mark the critical measurements. A sample can be reviewed before the full run, and later design changes should become a new file revision.
