ALT 3D CASE STUDY
Blake’s Lotaburger × Alt 3D
A familiar New Mexico brand became a dimensional public display through Alt 3D’s printed fabrication for River of Lights.
Custom fabrication · Large-format 3D printing · Branded display work

The challenge: make an unmistakable brand physical.
Recognizable branded objects leave little room for “close enough.” Their outline and proportions have to read clearly. Alt 3D translated the familiar Blake’s Lotaburger identity into three-dimensional pieces for a public display, turning a known building into something people could recognize at a glance.

Built around the brand, not around the printer.
A display should communicate the idea, not the limits of a machine. Larger geometry can be divided into printable sections and planned as one final object. The same approach applies to dimensional signage, exhibit elements and branded objects.
The key is defining what the audience must see, how the geometry will be printed, and who handles joining, finishing and installation after the printed pieces leave the shop.
What the Blake’s pieces demonstrate
Brand translation
A familiar identity can become a physical object while keeping its recognizable shape.
Dimensional display work
A building model gives a brand depth and presence that differs from a flat sign.
Public-facing detail
The overall form must read correctly to someone viewing the display, not just examining a CAD file.
Planning a similar dimensional brand piece?
Start with approved artwork or a reference model, then include the finished dimensions, quantity and intended setting. Point out the shapes, text and details that must stay recognizable at scale.
Alt 3D supplies the printed pieces within the agreed scope. Painting, metal casting and on-site installation are not included. No printable model yet? Our 3D design and CAD service can be scoped separately.
